3-23-06 Video #20 is up thanks to Tony B., who is healing from some surgery. Apparently he is getting some new bionic parts to make him skim better. We wish him a speedy recovery. This video is a big one coming in at around 88 MB so be patient. In case you had not noticed it's stil friggin' flat. A new POTWIFLI is up. In case you're wondering what's with all the skate pics, in case you hadn't noticed is still friggin' flat. 3-4-06 New POTWIFLI's have come and gone.We need waves. 6 new submissions have been posted at the bottom of the Creative Submsissions page. Seaside skimmer Danny R., finally moved to SC. Where the hell are the waves? A new video from Tony B will be up this week. Anyone seen any waves? Skating has taken up alot of time for some of the NJ boys with this lack of waves. Did someone say waves? Oh it was lack of waves. Waves? What, where? Not here in NJ. The wind has been offshore for what seems to be 2 months now. Summer is coming, shed your wetsuits, don your boardies, bash some waves. Waves? Woj waves goodbye......waves? Where?

2-23-06 Another new video for you, Tony B. comes through again, and I thank him very much for picking up the slack. This one a mix of NJ and Cali, with tons of faces that you might recognize. NJSKIM Video#19 is here. If you feel that NJSKIM has grown stale, fear not, as I have been putting time into a new revamped NJSKIM. Relax until then. Has anyone else noticed that this winter has been sh*t for skim? Only a hand full of good days have been had...wtf?

1-1-06A couple of things to report for you. First off Happy New Year to all of you from all of me. I'm happy to say that Mike Reid has tied the knot with the love of his life Melissa. Good on ya Mike!
And if you missed it, the "Beard*ed" premiere went down at the Sawmill in Seaside Park on the 12/28. The video was preceded by free pizza, drinks, and a raffle with products from the events sponsors Shark Energy Drink, Exile Skimboards, Poorboy USA, Skimshop, Foreverskim.com, and NJSKIM.COM. Special guests and Exile Team Riders Paulo Prietto and Chris Marciniak were on hand. Not a bad turn out either. A few pics here.

12-18-05 I'm sorry to say that one of our NJ girls, Jessica M. Neal, 19, has passed away. She is and always will be one of the NJSKIM crew. You will be missed by us all, rest in peace. Funeral arrangements can be found here.

9-26-05 The 1st Annual LBI Skim Bash is going down this weekend in Surf City on 4th Street. The event will take place on either Saturday or Sunday (Ocotber 1st or 2nd). Entry fee is $10. 9-18-05 The 2nd Annual Sea Bright Skim Bash went off without a hitch (maybe a few hitches) yesterday, in pretty damn fun cane swell conditions when everything was right. With competitors from all over NJ, NY, etc., it was another fun contest. Results: Jr Mens - 1st-Drew Meseck; 2nd-Sean Stratton; 3rd-Conor Willem; 4th-Andy Dillon. Mens 1st-Ron Deily; 2nd-Ted Osipowitz; 3rd-Dan McFadden; 4th-Woj. We also raised $862 for Hurricane Katrina Relief. Special thanks to the Sea Bright Rec. Dept, Mrs. Stratton, everyone that helped and the sponsors of the contest: Skimshop (thanks Dave for all the sick merchandise donated to the event), Ovni Undidentified, Spellbinders, Island Style, Barewires, Revolution Boardroom and NJSKIM. After the contest, lots of competitors were then treated to a classic NJ skimtreat a bit north of the contest. A sight that I hope I never see again, but sick nonetheless. 7-20-05 Congrats to Mike G and crazy Randy Brown for taking 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Sr. Grandmasters division at the OBX Skim Jam. Woj manages to pull a 3rd place finish in the Masters division while injured, infected and heavily medicated. Conor Willem takes home a 5th in the insanely sick Boys division. A photoset of the DE, NJ and OBX contests will be up soon, I swear. Also look for the sickest pictures from the same contests in the new upcoming issue of Skim Magazine. Woj is now an east coast staff photographer for Skim Magazine. Today is the day for the 2005 Skimboard Rider Poll awards out in Laguna Beach , CA with NJ's own Chris Marciniak nominated in several categories. A bunch of NJ wankers (Ted O) are out there right now for the 2005 Animal World Skimboarding Championships. Good luck to former NJ boys Tony B and TJ Johnson who are going for it in the 22-24 yr old division and NJ's only pro skimmer Chris Marciniak. The skim is going off right now up and down the coast of NJ, you best get on it.
